A New 1100 S.F. structure was requested to house a Houston couple's large art collection. The space is used for rotation and storage of the ever-growing collection as well as entertaining friends. The ground floor functions as a poolhouse and art storage with a custom-made stacks system. The second floor has a full bath and kitchenette off of the open gallery space. Custom lighting fixtures and orientation of large, upper windows on the North side allow for the perfect gallery lighting while allowing a view of the surrounding treetops without giving up wall space. A maple-paneled ceiling and flooring add to the nature experience in the inner-city space.
